When Lincoln unveiled its new 2007 Navigator, many automotive critics were taken aback (or blinded, if you were in the sun) by the over-the-top chrome schnoz on the new mega-ute. Had the battle of the bling between Cadillac and Lincoln finally gone too far?
Based on feedback from dealers, Lincoln made the top chrome strip, (nicknamed the "mustache") an optional, dealer-installed accessory. But it seems customers are split 50/50 on the love/hate spectrum for this shiny accoutrement. Personally, I think the Nav looks a lot classier with the mustache "shaved." But to each their own. Nobody said the full-size luxury SUV market was about understated subtlety, and I guess this just proves the point. So, are you all about the 'stache, or do you like your Navi shaved-up?
