How to Get Your Truck in Readers' Rides

Readers' Rides

I'm cleaning out my files, and Issue #9 will feature tons of Readers' Rides.  I still get emails every week  from readers asking how to get their trucks in the magazine.  Here's how.

It's simple, just send in a good photo of your truck.  It can be in your driveway if that's all you've got, but it can't hurt to shoot your truck in front of a decent background.  Try to get a good front 3/4 view of your truck that shows both the side of the truck and the entire grille.  If you've got a special modification that you'd like to show off, include a photo of that too.  Also, before pictures are cool if you've come a long way since your truck was a rust pile.  Most importantly, make sure it's in focus and a decent size.  Just because a digital image looks good when it's the size of a postage stamp doesn't mean it will look good blown up in the magazine.   Send in some info on the modifications you've done, what you've got planned for the truck, or anything that makes your truck unique.  Also, don't forget to say who you are, not all email addresses contain your name, and I often have to email truck owners for more information.  So, if you've got digital images, email me, Brandan Gillogly, at brandan.gillogly@primedia.com.  If you'd rather send in prints, you can do that too, (do people still use film cameras?) just send the photos and information to:
