About 8 months ago we picked up a '05 SSR from Chevy to build through the mag.
Sounds great right? Wrong. Chevy told us while they were dropping it off that we couldn't ever drive the truck. Ever. With the only exception being on the track.
This was to be my first project since the S-10 I put together in '04. I was bummed.
So being the nice guy I am, I promptly gave the keys to Mark Halvorsen and said "here ya go Havasu (my nickname for him), have fun building a truck you can't drive."
And so it began, the unfun process of putting time and money in a truck you can't drive.
My question is: Do you think it is worth it for us to build the sickest SSR on the planet even though we can't drive it?
Let us know-
