Okay, I couldn't resist this one. A co-worker of mine, knowing my affection for wagons and minivans, sent me a link to a 12-second turbocharged Dodge Caravan. This thing is unbelievably cool, if for no other reason than its stealth factor.
I'm a big fan of sleepers, and they don't come much more low-key than this. If you saw this roll up to you at a stoplight, would you give it a second thought? I wouldn't. Shoot, it even sounds like a tired, clapped-out old van, until you hear the honkin' atomic hair dryer turbo spool up. (If you browse around the site, http://www.turbovan.net, you'll see what I'm talking about.)
I know minivans are currently the automotive equivalent of a leper among the purported purveyors of coolness. But this is WAY cooler than any crossover or cushy, overstuffed SUV in my book (unless it can run 12s, too).
If you're the owner of this van and site and want me to take it down, please let me know. But I just wanted to give you props for having one bad-@$$ minivan, and to encourage all you other offbeat speed freaks out there to keep doing what you're doing.
