For every good Readers' Rides photo I get I also get one that's too dark, one that's out of focus, three of trucks that are still in the driveway, and almost all of them are too small to publish in the magazine. I've said this before, and I'm going to say it again: It's your truck, it's your pride and joy, make it look good! You don't have to find an exotic location, just somewhere that's uncluttered. If your truck is lifted, take it off the pavement, at least a little bit. As far as size and resolution goes, I'm still not sure how I'm getting 45k digital photos emailed it, but there's no excuse for a poor digital photo. Even most point-and-shoot digital cameras can take great photos, so find a good spot, shoot with the sun low on the horizon, and stick to the usual front 3/4 shots like you see in features in the magazine. Get out there, get shooting, and show us what you've got!
