What is the baddest SUV on the planet?

If you had a wallet full of Benjamins and had to buy an SUV, what would you drive home?

My answer is easy: Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
Think about this, for $111k you can go 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds, tow up to 7,716 lb, and have 4 of your friends with gear on the way to the softball field.
Not to mention you'll receive up front valet parking, drop a panty or two in the process, and have that really cool Porsche remote that is in the shape of, well a Porsche.
I love the Escalade but it comes in a close second. How about you, what would you park in your driveway?

That thing did hold its own pretty well and it sounded good too.
Nothing like a twin-turbo V-8 that still has a warranty.

3. Before some hotshot invented the word SUV Ford invented the Econoline Van. Now don't get all up on your fancy imported horses and write this note off as the ramblings of a backcountry buffoon.. Various conversion companies then took this heavy duty, reliable, inexpensive, and powerful machine and turned them into serious road machines. Now they are capable of towing in excess of 10.000 lb loads with up to ten passengers in radical comfort. Multi zone temperature control, large format media devices, games systems , satellite monitoring, and the capacity to house queen sized power folding beds, (for those seriously intent on panty removal). They're available for far less than your Porch and if you wish you can probably load your whole softball team in one and if your bent is to go fast they'll still take you beyond any speed limit posted in America. I've owned a tough Great Ford Conversion Van for 18 years, and that's what I'd recommend.

4. I do agree the Ford Econoline is a versatile and even impressive platform to transport people, tow, and sleep in if necessary. I must say though, given the choice I think most women, backcountry or not, will go for the Porsche and those men who are suffering a mid-life crisis and can't afford the Cayenne, the Econoline will prove to be a not-so close second. As a buddy of mine just reminded me, the Porsche may not be able to fit a queen-size bed in it, but it can get me back to my king-size fast enough to make magic happen.
