A New Era of Front End Swaps

Caddy-clip for '07 Chevys

Traveling to recent shows, I've seen more and more '07 Chevy and GMC trucks with '07 Cadillac Escalade front end clips. Will this be the next big trend?

We've seen this common swap for over a decade now. First it was the Denali or '00 Escalade swap on '88-'98 Chevy and GMC trucks, then it was the '02 Escalade clips finding themselves on '99+ Chevy and GMC trucks. With the recent launch of the beautiful '07 Escalade, it only made sense that the natural progression would be for fullsize truck enthusiasts to drop the almost $4,000 on the front end. It looks awesome though to do it right it does take time and body work skill. I'm looking forward to seeing more and more of these as truck owners go for an upscale and very custom look.
