Truck shopping too

What's the deal with Colorados and Canyons?

I am officially truckless. For the first time in a long time, I don't own a truck that runs.

Actually, I take that back. There were a few times when the Red Dragon (Rest in Peace) was temporarily our of commission, but now that I’m shopping for a new(er) truck, it seems that things are a bit out of whack.  I started looking at S-10 Blazers, but after test driving one, I knew it wasn’t what I wanted. My next plan was a Colorado or a Canyon, and even though I’m still considering one, they seem a bit pricey. They are going for the same price as fullsize trucks that are the same year, which doesn’t seem right. With everyone losing their heads over gas prices, you’d think dealerships would be giving V-8 fullsize trucks away, but they aren’t, because there’s still a market for them.  Now it seems like compact trucks are also a hot commodity, so their prices aren’t coming down, which leaves me shopping for trucks that I can barely afford.
To be continued. . .
