So here is what I was thinking last night. We as editors often go to various shops and manufacturers of produt that all of our readers see on a monthly basis. Often we attend these places of business and the owners give us a shop tour of how their places work or how such and such product is manufactured.
Some of us techies get a lot out of these tours while others get very little. However the one thing I think is fascinating is how differently in many cases these businesses function when a lot of them offer pretty much the same product. I also think that if we as editors find this fascinating then I also believe you as a reader might also enjoy seeing a "day-in-the-life" of one of these manufacturing facilities.
