So with both Ford and Dodge redesigning their popular 1/2-ton trucks for the 2009 year does anyone actually intend to purchase a fullsize truck again with the costs of fuel being what they are? And by the way, there doesn't seem to be any end in sight for these increased costs. So do big V-8 trucks still win out on your purchase decision making ability? Or do we all start driving 4-banger econo box trucks again?
Sheetmetal changes aside, are these manufacturers actually looking at cutting fuel consumption or are the OEM's stuck with their heads in the sand as they were int he '70s during the last fuel crisis?
What do you think?
