There's some new rumors floating around on the SEMA website about the upcoming Super Duty diesel engine.

The article posted on SEMA's website includes a spy photo from Brenda Priddy of the truck in testing. The new 6.7L engine is currently being developed with the internal name "Scorpion". Ford has had troubles with Navistar, their current diesel supplier, regarding warranty claims on 6.0L Powerstroke engines sold in 2003-2007 applications. The Scorpion engine is being developed in house, and the latest reports is that it's due to put out 390hp and 720lb-ft of torque, right where long-standing rumors have pegged it. Just as important, mileage is said to jump up by 3mpg with the addition of a 6-speed transmission.

Where do you guys thing the diesel horsepower and torque wars are going to end?
