A new spin on truck sales

Dodge will soon be advertising rebates on their truck and SUV products with "Percent Off" rather than just dollar signs.

Just how much off? 2008 Rams will be up to 40% off, while Jeep and Dodge SUVs will be up to 28% off. This announcement comes after Chrysler announced that they are no longer in the leasing business. Their goal is to get monthly payments on purchases as low as the lease offers they previously had. To keep payments low, Chrysler is offering 0% financing for 72 months for customers with excellent credit.

Will customers who typically lease vehicles for two years embrace a program that has them in a vehicle for 6 years?
