Instead of sitting in the bleachers on race night, why not sit behind the wheel of a real race truck.

Ever since you were a little kid you wanted to be a race driver. Well now is your chance. Jay Rutherford and Mike Face introduced the ASA Speed Truck racing series in 1996. Now celebrating their 12th season the Speed Truck racing action is covered on a national broadcasting network. The Speed Trucks are sanctioned by the (American Speed Association). The Speed Trucks race on 1/4-mile, 3/8-mile, 1/2-mile, 5/8-mile ovals and 1.7-mile 2.1-mile road courses.
The Speed Trucks are all based on a 1.75-inch dia. .090 wall all tube chassis with independent, coil over shock front suspension and a two-link with track bar, quick change rear end with coil over shocks. Disc brakes are mounted on all four corners with Allied racing steel wheels incased with spec Hoosier racing rubber. All Speed Trucks are powered by a spec 350 ci engine, the gears are shifted by a GM two-speed manual racing transmission. The chassis are covered with either a Chevy S10, Chevy Colorado, GMC Sonoma, Ford Ranger, Dodge Dakota, Toyota Tacoma, and Nissan Frontier fiberglass bodies.

The races draw approximately 40-50 Speed Trucks at each event.
