The sights and sounds of drag racing are a true adrenaline rush. Sure there are the big guns of the NHRA. But what about the minor leagues? I have recently hooked up with some buddies that campaign a Pro Street machine in the PSCA Pacific Street Car Association. Check it out.....

Attending a PSCA event at Fontana's Auto Club Drag Strip a couple of years ago I introduced myself to gentleman wrenching on his '74 El Camino door slammer. It just so happened to be Randy Walker, one of the fastest 1320 Pro Street pilots in the PSCA. We hit it off right away he gave me a quick tour of his wild Camino before he had to be pushed up to the staging lanes. I followed along the rest of the day. I called him the following Monday to thank him for the a great time, at the end of the conversation he invited me out to his shop in Palm Desert, California. I excepted.
Randy's Camino is no slug, its neck snappin' acceleration comes from it's 768 ci big block that is induced by a 4-stage N20 system, propeling Randy down the quarter-mile in 6.410 et @ 217.73 mph!

I love my job.....
