There is nothing like the sight of a Pro Mod drag truck rolling into the burnout box then the thunderous sound as the driver hammers the throttle instantly smoking the tires into an 1/8-mile burnout. After the lengthly burnout the monster is put into reversed where it backs up re-tracing it's massive rear tire tracks. After re-triping the start line light beams as it re crosses the start line it comes to a sudden stop.

The mighty muscle machine is put into forward low gear, it learches forward and rolls slowly as it idles, you hear the whine of the supercharger force feeding each cylinder. As a crew member guides the driver to the startline inching forward as the front tires creap into the staging light beam as the stage light illuminates on the Christmas tree the driver grabs hold of the hand brake. As the amber lights begin to countdown the engines rpm's come up the instant the last amber goes out, the engine explodes into instant power transfering the engines 2,000 plus horsepower of grunt into the ground as the massive wide rear slicks grip the asphalt rinkeling the tire side walls as the launch the truck like a fighter jet being catapulted off an aircraft carrier. Making it's 1/4  mile, 1320 foot elapse time in just under seven seconds at 212 mph!!!!

This kind of excitment is what is call Pro Mod Truck drag racing. I thought you might like to get sneak preview of what its all about.

Check it out....
