A couple of people in our forums were wondering about Truckin's SUV mag. I've got your answers.
Truckin's SUV mag started in '01 and catered to the world of small, mid-size, and fullsize SUVs. It was unique because it showcased 2WD sport UTEs, 4WD trail rigs, and full show family haulers. Carl Calvert was the editor until Feb. '05 when Primedia canceled the mag in order to launch Diesel Power. It was fun working on that title because we had freedom to do what we wanted. OE, stock, or wild show-only SUVs were just the norm. I wrote for the magazine for 2 years and can say we all had a good time. This cover was shot out in the boonies and people couldn't get enough of the Hummer H2 lifted on 50s with Lambo doors. RIP TSUV.
