I'm easliy distracted when it comes to the internet. I can be researching one thing and go off clicking links on a tangent and end up in a dusty corner of the internet wondering how I got there. That's what happened here. . .

The truck you see above is a Volkswagen Pointer, and aside from the odd extended-cab-looking window and wrong-wheel-drive, this thing is sorta cool.  Image a GTI or VR6 drivetrain swap,  some bigger wheelwells and corresponding  wheels and tires, and you'd have a cool looking mini. Too bad these aren't availabe in the States or VW rallies would have a whole new constituency.
