One of the perks being an editor for Truckin' The Worlds Leading Truck Publication is being able to cover shows from coast to coast.

We were given our '09 Show assignments this past week by our editor Dan Ward, you think he was handing out Wall Street bonuses.
The Truckin' staff is dedicated to attending shows to capture the awesome trucks, and experience the food, folks and fun at each show. The second reason for attending shows is to scan the events in search for those high quality Truckin' feature worthy custom trucks.  Shows are where we accumulate our insane features for the year. Some shows are more productive than others, its like fishin' somedays you get your limit and other days you don't. Truckin' has always had the highest of standards of any custom truck publication when it comes to features. Its all about quality, not quanity. I would rather come home with four great features than eight average ones.

A new approach will be shared with our Truckin' website viewers during the '09 show season. We will be utilizing the Truckin' website to post show coverage, which will give the viewers a more real time response. There has been some talk about video coverage at some shows in '09. Of course we will still be covering the shows in Truckin' Magazine.

Hope you guys and gals are getting ready for a GREAT '09 Show Season. My bags, camera and computer are packed. My air fare, rental car and hotel reservations are already booked. I can't wait!

See ya down the road....
