Everybody knows somebody who built a sick truck with everything chromed out but never got shot for a magazine. Or even worse, did get shot but the feature shoot was never published. Here is the breakdown...

Why is it some cool trucks never get shot for the magazine?

Several reasons come to mind, one is many people go to local Friday night shows but don't travel to the big venues. If we never see your truck, it won't be photographed. Also, many truck owners don't know how the truck feature game is played. It's simple, if I approach you at a show and you agree to let me and only me, shoot your truck, then it is up to you to be a man and keep your word. If your truck comes out in another mag, no dice for the World's Leading Truck Publication. Lastly, some truck owners have unrealistic expectations. I understand how much work, money, and time goes into making a truck look amazing, however, not every truck is a cover truck.  Sorry, but the truth hurts sometimes.

I admit it, there are truck owners out there whose trucks I have photographed and then their trucks were never featured. I'm sorry. It happens. If your truck is completely insane and absolutely beautiful, you're probably not in this group. In that case, please keep building really cool trucks.
