The Goodguys 27th All American Get Together will take place at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California this weekend March 28, 29. Yes, Truckin' Magazine will be there to cover the event and capture some high quality features.     

After kicking off the Goodguys 2009 show season at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California two weeks ago March 14, 15. Truckin' will continue it's Goodguys California swing with the Goodguys Pleasanton show. This show has always been a great event attracting over 3,000 cool custom trucks and cars from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and California. 

I will be making the 390 mile, 6-hour one-way drive from Huntington Beach to Pleasanton in "Big E", Truckin' Magazine's Ford E350 van. Taking the scenic route up old Highway 99 that passes through towns like Bakersfield, Fresno, Merced, Modesto and Stockton then go west through Livermore and Pleasanton. While cruising up Hwy. 99 I plan on stopping at a couple of shops, Ironworks Speed & Kustom in Bakersfield, and Muscle Road in Madera.

These Truckin' road trips are always a unique experience, no two are alike.
