Remembering your old high school years can be good or bad. I hope those years were filled with some of the best times of your life. For some of you high school graduation might have been just
last year. But for old guys like me who is attending his 40th high school reunion this summer, those glory days may be a little vague.

This past weekend I was not catching a plane to attend a show in some far off place. I was at home  catching up on my wife's honey-do-list around the house. After making two trips to the hardware store and still not one chore finished, I decided to take a break and get some lunch which met cruising over to Fred's, a Mexican restaurant on Main and PCH across the street from the HB Pier. After a fill of tacos, rice, beans and a diet Coke, I strolled back to the my Tahoe.
On the way back home I decided to cruise by my old teenage almamater Huntington Beach High School which opened in 1906. The high school has been going through a major facelift for the past five-years, including a new football stadium oh yes, "the glory days."
What a coincidence I had recently finished a major facelift on the '98 Tahoe, body/paint, 4-6-inch drop, wheels/tires, and  intake/exhuast. Ironically it was painted with one of the primary colors of the mighty HB Oilers, orange.

Check it out!
