#1. GMC Syclone 4.3L V-6 Turbo

GMC Syclone

As cool as the other trucks in the list are, the Syclone takes the same idea of big engine, small tuck to a higher level. Available only in black, the Syclone was sort of like and AWD Buick Grand National. With an engine found only in the low-production Syclone/Typhoon and an AWD drivetrain, the Sy/Ty cousins were in a league of their own in the early 90s, dominating cars on the dragstrip that were way out of their price range.

How did I rank a 280hp V-6 above the 500hp SRT-10?

1) The Syclone was a low 13-second truck 13 years before the Ram. It was unheard of.

2) It was the 1st truck with 4-wheel anti-lock brakes.

3) This is my list, so there. I wanted a Syclone (or a Typhoon) so much when I was 16. I still want one now.

I almost included the Typhoon, but since I only included trucks, and not SUVs, I had to leave it out. After all, the list would have balooned with the SRT8 Cherokee, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. . .
