This past weekend, feature editor Brandan Gillogly and I packed up and hit the road to Visalia, Ca. for the Down To Earth Day show, which is nearly a 4 hour drive from our Orange County base. Of course, our main objective is to nab the best trucks at the show and shoot them till the sun checks out for the day. BUT, we still get a little free time to play with.
Dimple's Diner, one of the coolest spots to grub at in Visalia, serves up an impressive deli club and tasty root beer floats that complemented the low 70-degree Central Cal weather nicely. After lunch, we criusied around a bit to find a photo location for the afternoon, and while we explored nearly every back farm road in town, I kept the 'ol Canon firing. Here are just a few candids from the road. Enjoy.
