Bolt-on parts for better ride quality and smoother leaf spring operation.
Leaf spring technology hasn't evolved much since the horse and buggy days. With the exception of the new '09 Ram, almost all trucks have leaf spring rear suspensions and the ride quality is less than smooth. Sulastic Springs help smooth out the bouncy ride by transferring the energy into wound rubber springs and damping the ride.
Over the weekend, we bolted on a pair of these Sulastic Springs onto a '04 GMC Sierra and were impressed with the new, improved ride.
Don't get us wrong, it won't make your truck ride like a Cadillac, but for $349, it did provide a noticeable improvement .
