This morning, I walked out to my 8 car garage and found the keys to a body-dropped '63 Ford Unibody and massive GMC Denali HD. It was a good day.
OK, so I slept in to 5 a.m. and didn't really find any keys and my garage is 7 cars less than an 8 car, but a guy can fantasize, right? Looking through my desktop folders, I found my favorite trucks never built. The first truck, a '63 F-100 Unibody, was to be my next big custom build, but once I took over as Editor, I didn't think it was very responsible to show the readers how to build a one-off, custom everything, 50-year-old truck. I sold the hunk of rust and with it, a piece of my heart. That truck was going to be awesome.
The other truck that I should have keys to but simply can't afford, is a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali HD. A $60,000 truck right off the lot, what you see here would cost another $25,000 to recreate. If money grew on trees, I'd be a farmer, and then I could drive both of these trucks around on my private test track.
Anyone have money tree seeds?
