Jim Ries established CPP in 1991 after more than three decades of providing the classic truck market with quality steering, brake, and suspension components along with professional service and installation. The classic truck products were so well receive CPP expanded its product line into the classic and muscle car market.

The CPP gathering consisted of an early morning cruise that began at a designated location a caravan precession cruised through the streets of Fullerton before arriving at CPP. The CPP parking lot and surrounding streets were packed with incredible early model custom Chevrolet, GMC and Ford trucks. The show featured; aftermarket vendors, Carl's Jr. lunch, raffle and shop tours of the CPP massive 35,000 sq. ft. R&D, manufacturing, shipping, receiving facility which also includes a pristine 3,000 sq. ft. showroom.

The show drew over 125 custom classic trucks from all over California including the C10 Club from Atwater, California that made the 500 mile trip. It was a casual day in the sun and a good time was had by all.
