I am spending this week in Lenexa, Kansas, at the Procharger headquarters. Today one of the founders of Procharger, Ken Jones, gave me a tour of their facility, and I have to say that I am very impressed.
Procharger makes all of their units out of billet aluminum that they mill in-house on one of their numerous, small house sized milling machines. They then assemble in-house and do quality control on every unit before it leaves their facility, rather than on random units. The testing of units is performed in Procharger's state of the art Aerodynamic Testing Lab. Sharing the building that houses the test lab is Procharger's other line of business, Inovair, makers of high efficiency, extremely quiet, and remarkably compact pneumatic conveyance packages. Procharger really knows what they are doing, which is the reason they are one of the top power adders in the industry. They also have the widest range of superchargers available, from marine to cars and trucks, and even motorcycles. Like I said, it was easy to be impressed with such a top-notch facility that is run by an outstanding team!
